Condenser Shell Assembly & New-Build Installation
Shell fabrication, shell assembly and new-build condenser installation at thermal and nuclear plants – assembly platform, bottom plates, side walls and final assembly, followed by tube installation, expansion, trimming, welding and hydro testing.

A surface condenser is made up mainly of the shell, tube bundles, hotwell and waterboxes. Our shell assembly scope covers fabricating and erecting the assembly platform, joining the bottom plates, fitting and welding the side walls, assembling the shell and final assembly of the condenser.
With the shell complete, the tubing work follows: installation, expansion, trimming, welding, dye penetrant testing (if specified) and the hydrostatic test. By our own records we have installed close to one hundred condensers in China; references include Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 and 4 (1,000 MW) and shell assembly for Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant Unit 4.
