In February 2009, Guangdong Thermal Power Construction Co. brought in Lanbo for tube installation, expansion, trimming and welding on the condenser of the 1,000 MW Unit 3 at Sanbaimen Power Plant in Raoping. Nearly 40,000 titanium tubes were expanded, trimmed, faced and welded in 15 days, and the condenser passed its hydrostatic test on the first attempt with no leaks.
These figures are for this project only. Schedules for other jobs depend on the tube count, tube material, site conditions and the outage window.
